Critical Notice

CSG Academy provides cybersecurity education for ethical and legal purposes only. Any use of knowledge, tools, or techniques from this platform against unauthorized systems is a criminal offense under the IT Act 2000 and may result in prosecution. The Company bears zero liability for misuse.

Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CSG Academy (the "Platform"), you ("User") agree to be legally bound by these Rules of Engagement ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CyberSecurityGhost Tech ("Company", "we", "us") under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, Government of India.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Section 02

Acceptable Use Policy

The Platform is intended exclusively for lawful, ethical cybersecurity education, research, and skill development. All labs, tools, and content provided are for learning purposes in controlled, sandboxed environments only.

You MAY: use the Platform for personal skill development, ethical hacking practice within provided lab environments, participate in CTF challenges hosted on the Platform, share knowledge and collaborate with other users in a respectful manner, and use the Platform for legitimate professional development.

You MAY NOT: use skills or tools learned on this Platform against any real-world systems, networks, or individuals without explicit written authorization from the system owner. Any knowledge gained here is strictly for defensive and authorized testing purposes only.

Section 03

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination, reporting to law enforcement, and/or civil/criminal liability under applicable laws including the IT Act 2000, IPC, and international cybercrime laws:

(a) Unauthorized access to any computer system, network, server, or device not explicitly provided by the Platform for training purposes. (b) Creating, distributing, or deploying malware, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code targeting real systems. (c) Conducting denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks against any real infrastructure. (d) Intercepting, sniffing, or unauthorized monitoring of network traffic outside designated lab environments.

(e) Using the Platform to facilitate, plan, or execute cyberattacks on individuals, organizations, or government entities. (f) Sharing, selling, or distributing any proprietary course content, lab materials, or Platform resources. (g) Attempting to breach the Platform's own security infrastructure. (h) Impersonating other users, staff, or any legal entity. (i) Any activity that violates Indian law or the laws of your jurisdiction.

Section 04

Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and immediately notify us at team@cybersecurityghost.tech if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Accounts are non-transferable. Sharing, selling, or transferring your account to another person is strictly prohibited. The Company reserves the right to terminate accounts found to be shared or used in violation of these Terms without refund.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. Fraudulent or misleading account information may result in immediate termination.

Section 05

Intellectual Property

All content on CSG Academy, including but not limited to course materials, lab environments, videos, text, graphics, code, trademarks, and logos, is the exclusive property of CyberSecurityGhost Tech and is protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This license does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any Platform content.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us regarding the Platform may be used by the Company without restriction or compensation to you.

Section 06

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

The Company bears absolutely no responsibility or liability for any misuse of knowledge, tools, or techniques learned on this Platform. Users who engage in unauthorized, illegal, or unethical activities using knowledge obtained from CSG Academy do so entirely at their own risk and shall be solely responsible for all legal consequences.

Section 07

Community Conduct

Users must treat all community members with respect. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or disability, threats, and abusive behavior are strictly prohibited.

Do not post, share, or distribute: illegal content, malware or malicious tools targeting real systems, other users' private information (doxing), misleading or false information, spam or unsolicited promotional content, or content that glorifies or encourages illegal activity.

The Company reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or permanently ban any user who violates community standards, at our sole discretion, without prior notice or refund.

Section 08

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. The Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments shall apply to all electronic transactions and data-related matters.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India.

The courts of competent jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings relating to these Terms. By using the Platform, you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
